New Sanctuary is a faith-based Pentecostal church in La Caverne, Vacoas. We preach Jesus Christ and believe that faith comes through His Word and is lived through obedience to it.

What we believe
Jesus is Lord.

We hold the historic Christian faith and believe the Holy Spirit still empowers the Church today—for holy living, courageous witness and loving service.
01We believe in one God—Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
02We receive the Bible as the inspired Word of God and our final authority for faith and life.
03We proclaim Jesus Christ: fully God and fully human, crucified for our sins, risen bodily, reigning and coming again.
04We believe salvation is by grace through faith, bringing repentance, new birth, holiness and a life of love.
05We practise water baptism and the Lord’s Supper, and seek the baptism and continual filling of the Holy Spirit.
06We believe the Church is sent to worship, make disciples, serve with compassion, pray for the sick and proclaim the gospel.
07We await the resurrection, final judgment and the life of the world to come.

We believe in the continuation of the gifts of the Holy Spirit in the Church today. They are not signs of spiritual rank or abilities that we control. They are gifts of grace, given by Him and administered under His lordship for the common good, just as He wills.
Paul names the word of wisdom, the word of knowledge, faith, gifts of healings, the working of miracles, prophecy, discerning of spirits, kinds of tongues and the interpretation of tongues.
We welcome their biblical expression with love, humility, discernment and order—always submitted to Scripture, always pointing to Jesus, and always seeking to strengthen, encourage and comfort His people.
